Our Privacy Commitment
Audria is designed to be privacy-first. You own the content you create with the Services, and you remain in control of it. You may retain it or permanently delete it at any time. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not permit our third-party service providers to use your personal information to train their own artificial intelligence models.
This Privacy Policy describes how Audria (“Audria,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Audria application and related services (collectively, the “Services”). Audria is a personal memory assistant that records and transcribes conversations you choose to capture and helps you organize them into notes, summaries, reminders, and other insights.
This page is publicly accessible and does not require an account or login. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide to us
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you register with a password, we store it only in hashed (encrypted) form and do not retain it in plain text.
- Authentication information. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a verified identifier and your email address from that provider. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature, we receive only the anonymized relay email address.
- Recordings and content. The recordings of conversations you choose to capture, and the information contained within them.
- Other information you provide. Names you assign to speakers, notes, messages you send to the in-app assistant, reminders, and any other information you choose to provide.
1.2 Information we generate from your content
To provide the Services, we process your recordings to generate, for example:
- written transcripts of your recordings;
- summaries, reminders, and other insights derived from your conversations;
- references to the people, organizations, and topics mentioned in your conversations, in order to help you organize and search your information; and
- characteristics of the voices in your recordings, used solely to distinguish between different speakers within your own account and to label them consistently. This information is used only for this purpose within your account and is deleted when you delete your account.
1.3 Information we collect automatically
- Device information. If you enable notifications, we store a device identifier so that we can deliver notifications to you.
- Usage and account information. Records relating to your use of the Services, such as your plan or usage balance, and technical logs necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the Services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
- transcribe, summarize, and organize the content you capture, and make it searchable for you;
- deliver the notifications and reminders you have enabled;
- authenticate you and protect the security of your account;
- respond to your requests and provide customer support; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and storage, speech-to-text transcription and artificial-intelligence processing, delivery of notifications, and (when available) payment processing. These providers may process your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are bound by obligations of confidentiality and data protection. We do not permit these providers to use your personal information to train their own artificial-intelligence models. A current list of our service providers is available on request at support@audria.tech.
- Authentication providers. When you choose to sign in using Apple or Google, you interact with those providers directly to authenticate your account.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Audria, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If Audria is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any resulting change in how your information is handled.
4. De-Identified and Aggregated Data
We may create de-identified or aggregated data from the information we collect, in a form that does not identify you. We may use this de-identified and aggregated data for our lawful business purposes, including to operate, analyze, maintain, and improve the Services, and to develop, train, and improve the artificial-intelligence models that power the Services. We maintain de-identified data in a de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it.
If you would prefer that we not use de-identified data derived from your content to develop or improve our models, you may contact us at support@audria.tech and we will honor your request.
5. Your Choices and Control Over Your Data
You remain in control of the content you create with the Services:
- Retention. While your account is active, we retain your content so that the Services remain available and searchable to you.
- Deletion. You may delete your account and associated content at any time within the app. When you request deletion, your account is first deactivated for a short period so that an accidental request can be reversed by signing in again. After that period, your content is permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered.
- If you are unable to access the app, you may request deletion by contacting us at support@audria.tech.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable law to access, correct, update, port, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may exercise these rights within the app or by contacting us at support@audria.tech. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7. Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and storage of credentials in hashed form. Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Billing
Paid plans for Audria are offered through the Audria website at audria.tech (coming soon). When billing becomes available, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor, and we will not store your full payment card details. We will update this Privacy Policy with the applicable details at that time.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@audria.tech.
10. Recording and Consent
You are responsible for using the Services in compliance with applicable laws, including any laws that require you to obtain the consent of other participants before recording a conversation.
11. International Data Transfers
We and our service providers may store and process your information in countries other than the country in which you reside. Where required by applicable law, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the Services.
13. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at support@audria.tech.
